The Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Complex Educational Needs) gives you advanced theoretical and research-based study of specialist teaching. This programme will give you an understanding of the development and learning needs of students who have multiple and complex needs.
The programme combines personal, historical, theoretical and rights-based perspectives with key ideas about presence, participation and achievement. This provides a foundation for exploring approaches to assessment, teaching and learning in inclusive school communities.
The diploma includes an examination of evidence-based practices in the education of students with multiple and complex needs, and a supervised practicum.
Massey is ranked in the world’s top 150 universities for education in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking.
