Virtual Experiential Learning Program
During Global Goals, you embark on a virtual journey and dive into the world of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You will visit globally known companies, such as VISA and SAP, and hear from selected guest speakers featuring UN Global Goals Advocates and supporting organizations. You also become an active member in the global SDG community by adopting a goal and becoming its goalkeeper and by becoming an entrepreneur and developing an SDG-related Start-up Project.
This virtual experience takes you “around the world” and lets you connect with 17 organizations, such as Viva con Agua, UVD Robots or the foundations of Forest Whitaker, Emma Watson and Leonardo di Caprio. The virtual meetings with managers from these organizations allow you to gain a better understanding of the SDG mission and learn how you can become the change our planet deserves and needs.
The programme runs 6-19 June 2021 and costs US $850. Use code PAFSDG20 and register by 23 April.
Your Global Entrepreneurship virtual journey will take you to Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore and the U.S. You get to virtually meet managers from well-known global brands, such as Porsche, Boeing, Dolce & Gabbana and Facebook. In addition, you become short-term entrepreneurs yourselves when working on your own Start-up Challenge Projects and learn about the differences between the American, German, Italian, Hong Kong and Singaporean start-up ecosystems.
The company and start-up visits are composed of virtual tours of the companies and/or virtual meetings with managers whom you can ask questions. Two experienced program managers and serial entrepreneurs from People & Friends, virtually accompany you during the entire program. While they provide guidance and support to you and your team members for your Start-up Challenge Projects and the final pitching competition, five virtual guest speakers are invited to give overviews of each country’s entrepreneurship culture.
The programme runs 11-24 July 2021 and costs US $850. Use code PAFVIR20 and register by 28 May.
