All borrowers will be prevented from borrowing, renewing or placing requests if:
Any item still overdue at 28 days will be invoiced at a default item charge, plus a processing fee. If the item is a high demand item i.e. requested by another borrower, fines of $3 per day up to the maximum of $45 will also be applied. Please note that overdue BONUS+ items are invoiced at 15 days.
If you have lost a book or it has been damaged while on loan to you it must be reported as soon as possible. Please email Library@massey.ac.nz or phone 0800 MASSEY (0800 627 739).
If after a period of 10 days you fail to respond to the 28 day invoice, return the item/s or make arrangements for payment you will be sent a final letter. This letter advises that:
If left unresolved the debt may be referred to a debt collection agency.
Interlibrary Loan charges are $5.00 for a standard request and $15.00 for an urgent request.
