Library membership is available to retired members of Massey University staff and Massey professors emeriti.
Please arrange for a written application from your former Head of School, Institute, or Department (or from Massey's People and Organisational Development service) to the Library.
Professors Emeriti: you can also apply in person at any Massey Campus Library using your Emeritus Professor card. Contact details need to be provided.
You are entitled to borrow books in person at any Massey University library. You may also request to have books posted to your home address.
You have the same borrowing conditions as a current University staff member.
Overdue fines are not charged.
The BONUS+ borrowing scheme is not available to retired staff and professors emeriti. If you are still working for Massey University, enquire through your department, school, or institute.
You do not have remote access (i.e. from your home or office) to Massey Library electronic databases, electronic journals and ebooks.
However, visitor access to some Library electronic resources is available to all users who visit in person. More Information: Walk-in Resources (223 KB)
You may be entitled to delivery of Massey Library journal articles or to borrow from other libraries. Look up your Retired Staff and Professors Emeriti entitlements
