Office 365 Email Migration FAQs

We've collated some of the common things that have been encountered so far as part of the migration across the University and have grouped them all in one location to resolve any issues you may encounter in a timely manner.

The important things that you need to know when your mailbox is moved into Office 365.

  • You will need to setup your desktop email
    If you are using Outlook you may see a Windows Security prompt after your mailbox has moved into Office 365. Sign in using your Office 365 username (i.e. usercode@massey.ac.nz)

    If you're using MacMail you will need to reset your email client. (see "How do I setup my MacOS Mail in Office 365?")

Please note you can still access your Office 365 mailbox online at http://portal.massey.ac.nz
