What is TechnologyOne?

TechnologyOne is an application that provides tools for Massey staff to complete finance related aspects of their roles. There are two types of access:

Finance Operations (Reporting)
TechnologyOne provides access to core finance functions for many Massey staff members, with both operational and reporting activities supported in the TechnologyOne Financials module.

Supply Chain/Unimarket (Purchasing)
TechnologyOne is also the system that provides Massey staff with purchasing facilities, linked live to the Unimarket network for automated ordering from suppliers.   The Supply Chain module of TechnoloogyOne provides the Mass-e-mall replacement.

How do I gain access to TechnologyOne?

Access is granted in collaboration with Finance and ITS. To be granted access to TechnologyOne, you need to complete the TechnologyOne access form and submit to Finance. Once Finance have completed their required tasks, they will pass your submission to ITS, whom will complete it. You will be notified when your submission is passed to ITS, and when ITS resolves the request.

How do I get into TechnologyOne once access has been granted?

TechnologyOne is accessed from a web browser in conjunction with Remote Desktop Services. It can be accessed via http://rdsweb.massey.ac.nz

To request assistance with financial policies and processes, or to request training on finance functions within the TechnologyOne system please log a request via AskUs.

TechnologyOne has an excellent on-line help system that is available when logged into TechnologyOne. From within TechnologyOne visit your home tab and click on the FAQ and Introduction links to access on-line help.


System Support

TechnologyOne IT support is provided by the Service Desk, for all IT related issues, such as inter operation with ITS services, including printing and email, or for RDS related queries please contact the Service Desk.  If in doubt please lodge your request via the Service Desk who can advise who you need to contact.
