Course Papers can be registered to a new or existing paper environment within the Computer Labs.
To register, you need to complete Paper Environment Registration Form (47 KB) and email to ITS. Alternatively the form can be posted via the internal mail to ITS Reception, PN460.
Students enrolled in the paper in the Student Management System (SMS) are automatically added into the Paper Environment and are able to see its contents
A disk space area is created for Paper Coordinators to upload resource files for students to access
Students can receive a department-allocated printing budget for use in the Computer Labs
Departments may choose to allocate a budget to their paper environment for students to use resources, such as printing. The allocated budget is fixed per environment. It is debited from the department and credited to the student's private computing account.
The student home directory is made available to students as their H: Drive, in the same way as it works for staff.
Paper Coordinators can access their paper environment directories using the following network drive location format:
Manawatu (Turitea): \\massey\disk\turcourses
Then, navigating to the appropriate folder.
Once you have confirmed the full path, you can also map it, so that it becomes more easily accessible.
