Print from your smartphone or tablet

With an active account you can print:

  • Email - Email printed via MobilePrint may look different than when printed via a desktop email client - such as Outlook
  • Attachments - Most common file types and extensions are supported e.g. Microsoft Word (.docx). If an email with an attachment is sent to a printer via MobilePrint, both the email and the attachment can be printed. MobilePrint has been configured to ignore email messages that appear very short or are empty

How do I use MobilePrint?

  1. Send the email and or documents you wish to print to your campus MobilePrint email address (remember to attach the file you want to print to your email!)
  2. Wait for the confirmation email
  3. Swipe your ID card at a FollowMe printer and select the print job you would like to release

    Note: If you are not using your Massey address, you will receive a notification email from MobilePrint advising you need to register your email address to print your documents. You can have multiple email addresses associated with your Massey account.

ITS has tested the MobilePrint service using a range of devices and email apps running on Android, iOS and Windows Phone - however due to the number of phones and apps available we have not been able to test all.
