Online meetings with Lync/Skype for Business

Anyone can join a Lync/Skype for Business online meeting

To join a meeting, all you need is the email invitation (containing the meeting link and Conference ID) and a compatible device with a reliable internet connection. The quality of of your experience will depend on your device and the quality of your internet or network connection. See how to join an online meeting below.

Massey staff can create online meetings with Lync/Skype for Business

Online meetings give you the freedom to connect with anyone, anywhere. All Massey staff can use Lync/Skype for Business to schedule and host online meetings.

How to join an online meeting

Please choose your device:

Join by computer

Windows or Mac computer

Join the meeting using an installed Lync or Skype for Business client OR the Skype for Business web app.

Quick start guides:

Other computer or mobile device

Join the meeting using the Skype for Business web app OR mobile app.

Join by phone

Dial into the meeting using the appropriate Conference Dial-in Number and the Conference ID on your meeting invitation.

Join from VC Room

Video Conference room

We are in the process of connecting Massey Video Conference (VC) rooms with Lync/Skype for Business. Until then, those rooms can dial into online meetings using the same method as external VC rooms.
