The 7 Cs of Learning Design Presenter - Professor Grainne Conole, University of Leicester

Abstract: This aim of this presentation is to introduce participants to different ways of conceptualising the learning design process from different perspectives. It will critique a range of pedagogical approaches and the role of different technologies in supporting these and explore how to apply various resources, tools and methods to course design and specific learning interventions.

A Framework for Designing, Implementing and Evaluating Good Practice Presenters - Dr Keith Smyth, University of Edinburgh and Dr Panos Vlachopoulos, Aston University

Abstract: The overall aim of this presentation is to engage participants in exploring a framework for good practice in technology-enhanced learning that is based on principles of active engagement, learner autonomy, and students as co-creators of learning resources and experiences, and which has successfully been used and adapted within a range of Higher Education and Further Education institutions within and also beyond the UK.
