Titoki apartments

Titoki apartments are self-catered and a good living option for returning students. Located next to Matipo and Tanekaha apartments, Titoki residents are just a short stroll away from Te Rito and Student Central.

  • Six, four or five bedroom apartments, each with two bathrooms and balcony access.
  • Single occupancy. Suitable for students aged 21 to 25 years.
  • Fully furnished. Everything you need to study, relax and rest.
  • Access to Te Rito social hub and facilities.
  • Less than a two minute walk to Student Central and the library.

All students can pay by semester or full year. Only domestic students can pay on a weekly basis by direct debit.

To secure your accommodation, you will need to pay the following fees first:

  • Administration fee: $100 (non-refundable)
  • Activity fee: $120 (events and activities contribution)
  • Bond: $450 (held until contract ends)

Please note: Cancellations must be received by received by 26 January 2020 to secure a refund of the bond and activity fee.

Self-catered. Residents cook their own meals in their apartment.


Wireless internet is provided throughout the village and is inclusive of room rate.


The living area is heated and each bedroom has a heater.


Basic furniture and whiteware is provided. Fully furnished kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Each bedroom comes with a king single bed, desk, chair, noticeboard, bookshelf and wardrobe with drawers and a mirror. Residents can bring their own towels and bedding or purchase a linen pack at a cost of $125.00.


The laundry is located at the rear of Te Rito, with 24-hour access. Card-operated washing machines and dryers available at a cost of $3 per load. You will need to provide the washing powder.


Car parks are available outside the apartment building. Parking is $125 per semester.

A free bike rack is located outside Te Rito.

Te Rito social hub

Te Rito is a communal social hub for all residents of Te Ōhanga village. Facilities available to residents are a:

  • Study room
  • Casual dining area
  • Lounge with SKY TV and media facilities
  • Music room set up with drum kit, electric keyboard, guitar and amplifier
  • Games room with a pool table, table tennis, Xbox One and PS4
  • Vending machines for drinks and snacks
  • Communal laundry

  • Basketball hoop
  • Bike rack

The reception desk is also located in the Te Rito building.
