Physical activity contributes to stress reduction, improves the ability to sleep, memory and concentration.

"I've tried all the different yoga classes in Palmerston North. I found them so frustrating - they were just a relaxing stretch to music with no attention to breathing or the intended effect of poses on the body - until I found Ambika. Ambika teaches a modified vinyasa/ashtanga class. She will correct you and help you understand and improve your yoga practice. It's not just about touching your toes or whatever, but what muscles you should be feeling and where it should be coming from. That and a bit of hard work and you will be doing advanced poses in no time!"
