Getting on Track

19 January to 12 February

Come and see us in person when Massey comes to a city near you this summer. Getting on Track is a great opportunity for you to meet with a number of Massey staff who can check your enrolment, help you set yourself up for online learning and tell you all about how to stay connected at a distance.

Getting Started

25 January to 28 February

Join staff and current students on our online learning community called Stream.  Getting Started is your interactive guide to starting University with new content added each week. It is for both online and on-campus students and includes videos with tips from Massey students, easy to use academic resources, personalised study advice and opportunities to engage and ask questions online.

An email will be sent to all new students in January inviting you to join the site.

Online Orientation

13 February, 10 am

Attend our welcome for all new online students to the Massey whānau. At this live event, which will later be available on demand, we will formally welcome you to your journey with Massey University and share information about the services you can access as a student. You will hear about life as an online student, the opportunities available over the coming weeks to meet other members of the distance students community and there will be a live chat function to ask any last minute questions.

On-Campus Orientation

17 February to 19 February

On-campus orientation is our opportunity to welcome all new on-campus students to the Massey whānau.  Over these three days we will formally welcome you to your journey with Massey University and share information about services you can access as a student. You will get further information about student life, lots of opportunities to meet other new students and our Massey Guides will be there to answer any questions you might have.

International students need to attend an additional compulsory session on Thursday 18 February to hear about particular requirements and support. You should also read the International Student Support pages.

More information about the sessions held as part of on-campus orientation will be published in late January.
