New information following the change in COVID-19 alert levels. massey.ac.nz/coronavirus
Kia orana, Talofa lava, Ni sa bula vinaka, Mālō e lelei, Kam na Mauri, Mālō nī, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Tālofa, and warm Pacific greetings to all our 2020 Graduates.
The Massey University Pacific Student Success team would like to congratulate you on reaching this major milestone of completing your degree.
It has been an interesting year that during our normal struggles, COVID-19 and its effects are upon us. This has made life more challenging and everyone must rise above their normal limitations to ensure life goes on. The old saying holds true in times like this; “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” But it also makes success much sweeter. Unfortunately, it also meant that your scheduled graduation ceremony was cancelled. We sincerely hope that you took the time out to celebrate your achievements with your families and loved ones.
Fortunately, our office is hosting a Pacific graduation celebration in Auckland and Palmerston North. We would be most grateful if you and your family can join us in the area closest to you. Please note that the celebrations are dependent to any COVID-19 restrictions we may face and we will keep you updated.
If you graduated in absentia earlier this year or are eligible to graduate in November, we welcome you to attend one of the following events:
Unfortunately the Wellington Celebration has been cancelled. We would like to congratulate all our Wellington graduates on this tremendous achievement and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. You and your family are welcome to attend either the Auckland or Palmerston North Celebration if that suits you/your convenience.
Date: Wednesday 21 October 2020
Venue: Sir Neil Waters Foyer, Auckland Campus
Date: Friday 20 November 2020

Please contact Carlos Tupu at C.Tupu@massey.ac.nz or 021 356 742 for any questions regarding the Pacific celebrations.
