Te Rau Angitū , Māori postgraduate awards programme

A Māori postgraduate award can help with your study fees and/or research costs.

On this page

The purpose of Te Rau Angitū, a Māori postgraduate awards programme, is to contribute to the completion of a postgraduate qualification. The award will assist with your study fees and/or research or course related costs. In addition, an academic and learning programme will be provided to support the successful completion of your qualification.

From 2024 onwards, Te Rau Angitū has been redesigned to support students who are completing postgraduate qualifications in master’s and below, including honours, postgraduate diploma, and certificate.

If you are a potential or current Māori Doctoral student and have any queries regarding the doctoral programme or your studies please contact Dr Monica Koia: m.n.koia@massey.ac.nz or go to Te Wheke a Toi for further information.
