Social sports leagues and clubs

Students and the community utilise the Auckland Recreation Centre's facilities and sports hall for a variety of different competitive and social sports.

The types of sports hosted in the recreation centre include:

• basketball
• netball
• volleyball
• futsal
• indoor soccer
• badminton
• table tennis
• dodgeball
• ultimate frisbee
• cricket (held in the Massey University Cricket Centre on Auckland campus)

Street Smart Self-defence Workshop

Join us for a 4-week Street Smart Self-defence Workshop. Sessions will be delivered on Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 8:30pm. The dates are 9, 16, 23, and 30 May 2023. The sessions will cover:

• defensive mindset
• self-defence
• threat awareness
• defensive techniques.

All genders are welcome.

The sessions are free for current Massey University students and $20 for non-Massey students. Spaces are limited, so make sure you register!
