These scholarships are awarded by the Leonard Condell Farming Scholarship Trust established under the terms of the will of Leonard Condell. He was a Pukekohe farmer who died in 1974.

What you'll be studying

This is a doctoral scholarship. You will want to or be undertaking research in the field of agriculture.

Eligibility criteria

You must:

  • be a New Zealand-born resident
  • be a graduate in science, agriculture or a related discipline
  • undertake research that will benefit some branch of agriculture in New Zealand.
