Workshop 2: Pivoting, joining, tidying, data visualisation

We’ll be looking at:

• How to summarise by more than one group
• How to turn that into a table by pivoting the data wider.
• How to join dataset together.
• How to create ‘small multiple’ charts.
• How to tidy up and create a chart from some very messy data.

Start by downloading lab02.Rmd and load it into RStudio:

You may be prompted to install the readxl package via a yellow bar at the top.

Ensure the document knits correctly, then work your way through the R Markdown worksheet.
