The fund shall be known as 'The Albert and Alexis Dennis Donation'.
It shall be used to assist extramural students, male or female, aged 65 years or more, in the payment of fees, books, vacation courses and examination expenses and other incidental expenses incurred in their extramural studies.

Candidates must be enrolled extramurally in all papers taken in the year of application.

The award will be made on the basis of the academic costs to be incurred by the student in the year of application. A brief supporting statement with this information must be included in the application.
Preference may be given to candidates who have a physical disability. Such candidates must supply evidence of that condition from a registered health professional.

Grants shall be made on the recommendation of the Scholarships Committee.

Closing Date
Applications close with the Scholarships Office, on 28 February in the year in which the award will be made.

All application pages MUST be single sided.

All applications are acknowledged by email.

Applications will NOT be accepted more than 3 months in advance of the closing date.
