The New Zealand Institute of Rural Health and the Waikato District Health Board are offering scholarships, worth up to $10,000, to support rural origin students in health science studies.
These scholarships are available to support:
This programme is part of the Waikato District Health Board’s rural strategy to improve access to quality health care in rural and regional Waikato.
Who is Eligible?
The scholarships are open to students from rural Waikato who are currently enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate health science course.
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
