School of Aviation

Offering New Zealand's only aviation degree

The School of Aviation was established in 1987 to meet airline needs for graduates with a wide industry perspective. We were the first New Zealand training organisation to meet the regulations for Civil Aviation Authority Rule Part 141 certification.

Study

Student pilots in Massey plane

Undergraduate qualifications enable you to train to become a pilot or to study towards a career in aviation management. You can study in New Zealand or as a distance learning (aviation management) student at the Singapore Aviation Academy.

Senior aviation managers are required to demonstrate not only technical knowledge and expertise, but also postgraduate aviation qualifications and skills. Massey University’s postgraduate qualifications can give you those skills.
