Colleges at Massey University, New Zealand
Massey University's teaching and research departments are divided into five colleges.
Massey colleges offer papers in more than 40 academic subject areas, extramurally and at our three campuses in the North Island of New Zealand. College research teams and individuals continue in Massey's proud tradition of research that contributes to economic prosperity and social well-being.
Examples in the 2008 annual research magazine included work with fusion motion capture and downhill skiing, studies of the engineering problems associated with IVF, and development of a robotic kiwifruit picker.
College of Business
The College of Business is New Zealand's largest tertiary-based business school, with 13,000 students. Our finance programme has been ranked first in New Zealand and 12th in the Asia-Pacific region for the quality of its research publications.
College of Creative Arts
The College of Creative Arts includes the Research Centre for Contemporary Fine Art and the School of Visual and Material Culture, as well as New Zealand's finest School of Design.
College of Education
The College of Education is the largest postgraduate teachers college in New Zealand with programmes covering early childhood, primary and secondary teaching.
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences has nine schools that offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and professional and applied programmes that include emergency services management, and nursing.
College of Sciences
The College of Sciences covers the spectrum of modern sciences, including mathematics, engineering, information technology, construction, and veterinary science.
