Food Technology at Massey University has developed food science and product development kits intended to support food technology teaching in the 21st century.
MUFTi Kits come as a range of food experiment kits designed to demonstrate the use of additives in food product development in the class room. They are aimed at increasing student knowledge on the origin and use of additives in industrial food manufacturing.
These are food science experiments that have been developed as a constructive resource to support teaching towards the New Zealand Curriculum 2007 and sits well within technological knowledge and skills.
All experiments include a variety of small equipment, additive and a CD with a complete set of instructions for the teacher as well as handouts and work sheets for the students.
