The statistical consultancy service is offered by the Statistics and Bioinformatics group of the Institute of Fundamental Sciences at Palmerston North, providing advice to researchers within Massey University as well as private organisations.
The group also arranges occasional short courses and workshops.
To book an appointment, please fill in our brief client information sheet [
Client Information Sheet (15 KB)
] and send it by email to email@example.com. On receiving this we will set up an appointment for your first consultation.
For postgraduate students, we ask that supervisors are also present for the initial meeting. We normally aim to respond to queries within a week but may take longer during busy periods. The availability of the service is subject to time restrictions of the operating staff members.
Dr Jonathan Godfrey is a Lecturer in Statistics. He has several years successful experience in managing small to medium sized consulting projects that have matched the most suitable of our staff and students to each enquiry in order to get the job done effectively. His particular expertise are in design of experiments and imputation of missing data.
The service is supported by other staff members, drawing on their individual research strengths and expertise to help each client. Postgraduate students also provide a valuable contribution in the form of peer-to-peer support for other postgraduate students across campus. No matter what sort of statistical concerns you have, our aim is to provide you with the assistance that delivers a solution.
