Massey’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility offering New Zealand’s most comprehensive veterinary expertise. Final-year veterinary undergraduates work alongside senior clinical staff with postgraduate specialist training and extensive experience to provide the best possible animal care to the community.
The experienced and friendly team at the Companion Animal Hospital provides top-quality veterinary care for all types of small pets. We are open to the public, and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also ask your vet for a referral for difficult cases.
Our highly skilled equine team offers a broad range of medical and surgical expertise. You can bring your horse in by appointment or ask your vet to refer your horse to us in difficult cases.
The Farm Services Clinic provides on-farm treatment for all farm animals, while our large animal hospital offers ongoing care, radiographs and surgery. Please ring us for advice, appointments and referrals.
Wildbase offers New Zealand’s only dedicated wildlife hospital. We provide medical and surgical care and rehabilitation to sick and injured native animals so they can be returned to the wild. Our mission is to preserve our unique endemic fauna, which includes some of the most endangered wildlife on the planet.
It is impossible for local vets to be “all things to all animals”. Vets can refer difficult cases to us for specialist treatment, much as your doctor may refer you to a specialist. Our vets have an exceptionally high skill level and extensive experience. We also have cutting-edge equipment unavailable in most general practices.
