Manawatu Microscopy and Imaging Centre

The Manawatu Microscopy & Imaging Centre (MMIC) is a multi-user facility on Massey University's Turitea campus.  We provide researchers with the latest equipment needed for Transmitted Light and Fluorescence Microscopy [Widefield and Confocal], Electron Microscopy (TEM and SEM/EDS) and Image Analysis.

    Important Updates

    TEM services will be unavailable beginning April 19. These will fully resume as of Wednesday, May 3. Samples delivered between April 19 and April 28 will be stored in fixative.


    SEM sample processing and imaging services may be subject to delays for the next several months.
