175.719 Applied Criminal Psychology (15 credits)

An advanced study of the aetiology of recurrent criminal behaviour with reference to cultural and ethnicity issues, familial and societal factors, and cognitive and psychopathological correlates. The underlying emphasis of the course is offender rehabilitation.

Final selection for places will be determined by the School of Psychology in mid January. Access to an online learning environment is required so students can access the course Guide, expected learning outcomes and assessment tasks. The online learning environment may also be required to access supplementary study resources and for the electronic submission of assignments. Core study resources will be supplied directly to students.
