Aspects of genetics that are important in human biology. Topics include chromosome abnormalities, genes and genetic disease, immunogenetics, cancer, ageing, complex traits, family studies and populations.
Note(s): For the BLOCK mode offering of this course at the Albany Campus please note that all lectures are held and recorded at the Manawatu Campus (Palmerston North). They will be transmitted to remote computers and may be viewed during the semester. A weekly COMPULSORY tutorial will be held at the Albany Campus every Monday 4pm to 5pm. Please check the timetable (select Block mode) for details. There are no labs in this course.
