2017 - An overview of the biological, psychological and social bases of human communication with a focus on the nature of deviations from, or disruptions to, normal communication development relevant to remediation. Basic principles of prevention diagnosis, and intervention will be addressed. 2018 - An overview of developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. The nature and impact of communication disorders will be identified and explored.
