Teaching and student learning

Our students have plenty of scope to find and discover their passions by selecting from a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We offer unique programmes, flexible undergraduate and postgraduate study and teaching excellence.

Programmes are the qualifications (certificates, diplomas, degrees) that you can study at Massey. Programmes are made up of papers.

We are characterised by the applied nature of many of our teaching and research programmes and papers. Massey offers:

  • degrees - more than 30 first degrees
  • diplomas and certificates - these are structured differently from a degree
  • major, minor, double majors - you can specialise in any one of more than 340 subject areas
  • conjoint degrees - BA / BBS, BA / BSc and BBS / BSc
  • professional development papers and programmes
  • postgraduate study - more than 100 postgraduate programmes, and strong research opportunities
  • Summer School - a range of papers on a variety of subjects.

Courses, degrees, diplomas and certificates

Wherever you choose to study, you will be able to access a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. They cover everything from education to humanities and social sciences, to sciences and engineering, to arts and business.
