Pay and display car parking is available to students on King Street and by the Museum Building (Block 10). The cost is $1.00 per hour. You also need to display a valid student dashboard pass. These are available without charge from Student Central (Ground Floor, Block 4). Students may also use available car parks in the staff parking areas on weekends and public holidays, and after 5:00 pm on a daily basis. At other times you may be towed. If you think you have been towed, contact CarePark Ltd, 388-9681.
These pay and display parking areas are available to all Massey students displaying a pay and display ticket and a student dashboard pass from Student Central.
There are a limited number of student parking permits available each semester.
Contact CarePark Ltd to apply for a semester permit to use the upper level of the King Street parking area and the 60 Tasman Street parking area. The cost is $120 per semester. You will be notified if your application is successful, and your new dashboard permit will be available to be paid for and collected at Student Central. Application forms are also available at Student Central.
Please note that if CarePark Ltd does not receive your returned application by the stated deadline, it will be assumed that you don't require a park, and it will be offered to another applicant.
Please remember the following when parking in the permit holder area:
Staff parking areas are located in Entrances A, B and C on Wallace Street, Entrance D on Buckle Street and Entrances E and F on Tasman Street. There is also a staff parking area off King Street. Staff may also use the pay and display parking in Entrance D. Valid parking permits must be displayed when parking on campus. Failure to display an appropriate permit may result in the issuing of a $50.00 payment notice by CarePark Ltd.
The fees for 2013 staff parking permits are:
Parking permits may be paid for on a semester basis at a rate of $128 and $180 per semester respectively, or paid by automatic fortnightly salary deduction.
Visitors displaying valid parking permits may park in available staff car parks in Entrances A, B and C on Wallace Street, Entrances E and F on Tasman Street and Entrance D on Buckle Street. Temporary parking permits are available from the Facilities Management Help Desk located on the Ground Floor Mezzanine, Block 5. A limited number of reserved parking spaces in Entrance E, Tasman Street may be booked in advance through the Facilities Management Help Desk, 04 801 5799 x 62222, email email@example.com. Pay and display parking is available for visitors by the Museum Building, Entrance D (Buckle Street). One-hour pay and display parking is available in Entrance A (Wallace Street).
Failure to display an appropriate permit may result in the issuing of a $50.00 payment notice by CarePark Ltd.
