All exchange destinations have merit and many are highly prestigious institutions.

Massey exchange students are ambassadors of New Zealand and play an important role in the future of international communication and understanding.
How does the exchange programme work?
- transfer abroad for one or two semesters to a partner university.
- continue to pay Massey tuition fees (60 credits per semester).
- continue to receive entitlements to student loan and/or allowances.
- earn university credit for the papers (elective or major) studied successfully overseas.
- choose from a range of papers not offered at Massey.
- study at the same pace as you normally would if studying in NZ.
Who is eligible?
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (360 - 480 credits) or Master's degree (240 credits) at Massey University.
- Have (or expect) reasonably good grades (B average).
- Expect to complete one year (120 credits) of study at Massey prior to departing on exchange (or at least one semester of postgraduate study).
- Be able to demonstrate you would be a good ambassador for Massey and New Zealand.
- Submit the Exchange Application Form with supporting documents by the stipulated deadline.
