Please give a brief description of the scientific project you intend to run:
We intend to model the conductive effects of X-rays on gases, namely in radioactivity. The main element we model thorium. It is our goal to understand the emanations experimentally observed in thorium that coats other substances, in particular we seek to estimate its half-life from modeling. We hypothesize this is from one of the inert gases. Additionally, we continue modeling of the uranium atom. The goal of this project is to substantiate Curi's claims that radioactivity is an atomic phenomenon.

Using Gaussian, we will implement a 16 processor call using 32 GB total. We expect one job completion in two weeks, with roughly 27 jobs required.
