New Zealand Indigenous Flora Seed Bank partners

The New Zealand Seed Bank group comprises the New Zealand Plant Conservation Network, AgResearch, the Department of ConservationLandcare Research and Massey University.

Each organisation is bringing their own unique skills, people and facilities to help ensure the success of this project. 

Massey University

Department of Conservation

The Department of Conservation (DOC) manages all New Zealand's conservation land and waters, including recreational opportunities in these areas. 

AgResearch

AgResearch works to enhance the value, productivity and profitability of New Zealand’s pastoral, agri-food and agri-technology sector value-chains to contribute to economic growth and beneficial environmental and social outcomes for New Zealand. 

Landcare Research

Landcare Research’s core purpose is to drive innovation in the management of terrestrial biodiversity and land resources.

New Zealand Plant Conservation Network

The NZPCN works in various ways to protect the unique indigenous plant life of New Zealand. The Network was founded in April 2003 and has since grown to more than 600 members worldwide.
