FLRC hosts an annual workshop which is conducted on a topic of importance to the New Zealand land-based industries. FLRC has hosted these workshops at Massey University since 1987, which are of relevance to scientists, researchers, fertiliser industry representatives, producer boards, agricultural and horticultural consultants, progressive farmers, Government policy analysts and local and regional authorities who are concerned with primary production in New Zealand. They have become established as an effective means of debate and information transfer on topics of mutual interest. Continuing support from many quarters has enabled FLRC to arrange a series of quality events with national and international significance.
Published proceedings from previous workshops serve as a permanent record of the knowledge, science and perspectives at the time and include all papers presented. These are a valuable resource for those who need to consider the implications related to the topics, whether from industry, science, policy or a scholarship perspective.
