Occupational safety and health (OSH) has become an integral part of business in New Zealand. The Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health at Massey University provides people holding a first degree or other qualifications, including relevant work experience, with advanced knowledge and skills in the multidisciplinary area of occupational safety and health.
The programme has strengths in a number of areas, including occupational hygiene, hazard management, OSH management systems development, and evaluation. This course gives you exposure to a variety of disciplinary approaches. The programme has a technical bias (with a strength in occupational hygiene) and differs from other courses which might approach occupational safety and health from a social science or health perspective.
