What is it like?

Occupational safety and health (OSH) has become an integral part of business in New Zealand. The Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health at Massey University provides people holding a first degree or other qualifications, including relevant work experience, with advanced knowledge and skills in the multidisciplinary area of occupational safety and health.

The programme has strengths in a number of areas, including occupational hygiene, hazard management, OSH management systems development, and evaluation. This course gives you exposure to a variety of disciplinary approaches. The programme has a technical bias (with a strength in occupational hygiene) and differs from other courses which might approach occupational safety and health from a social science or health perspective.
