CIVIL-MILITARY RELATIONS WORKSHOP HELD

12 June 2018

Twenty-four participants from all three services of the NZ Defence Force, the NZ Police, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and a range of NGOs attended a workshop hosted by the Security, Politics and Development Network at Massey University Wellington. The workshop sought to use organisers’ and participants’ direct expertise and/or engagement in the NZDF’s major military exercise Southern Katipo 2017 (SK17) to explore the current state of civil-military relations in New Zealand.
