Entry requirements

Applicants for the PGCertBus must meet University admission requirements as specified, and will have been awarded or qualified for a Bachelor’s degree having achieved at least a B- grade average in the highest level courses, or equivalent. Students must gain admission as being eligible to proceed into this programme.

To support your application, you will need to provide the following document/s:

  • Verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

Qualification regulations

Part I

These regulations are to be read in conjunction with all other Statutes and Regulations of the University including the General Regulations for Postgraduate Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates.

Part II

Admission
  1. Admission to the Postgraduate Certificate in Business requires that the candidate will:
    1. meet the University admission requirements as specified, and:
    2. have been awarded or qualified for a Bachelor’s degree having achieved at least a B- grade average in the highest level courses, or equivalent.
Qualification Requirements
  1. Candidates for the Postgraduate Certificate in Business shall follow a flexible course of study, which shall consist of courses totalling at least 60 credits at 700-level, comprising:
    1. courses from the Postgraduate Certificate in Business schedule; and including:
    2. attending Contact Workshops, block courses, field trips, studios, workshops, tutorials, and laboratories as required.
    3. Notwithstanding Regulation 2, and with the approval of the Academic Board or their delegate, relevant 700-level courses may be substituted for courses included in the Postgraduate Certificate in Business schedule beyond the normal limits permitted.

These regulations should be read in conjunction with all other Statutes and Regulations of the University including the General Regulations for Undergraduate Degrees, Undergraduate Diplomas, Undergraduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas and Graduate Certificates

How much will it cost?

We can't tell you the exact cost until you have chosen your courses, as the tuition fees you pay each year vary depending on the courses you choose. There will also be compulsory non-tuition fees you have to pay in addition to your tuition fees. For some courses there may be other charges for things such as study resources, software, trips and contact workshops.
