Thesis Title
Why do some Social enterprises flourish in Vietnam? A comparison of pivotal social entrepreneurs and eco-system factors.

Research Description
The thesis aims to explores the role of Social entrepreneurs' personal factors interacting with Ecosystem supports, to form the Social Impact in Social Enterprises. Both quantitative and qualitative methods from behavioural and psychological aspects will be applied in the study.

Research Importance
Besides the contribution to the literature on Social Entrepreneurship in Psychology, sociology and management fields, the research's outcome could support government institutions, investment groups, communities and social enterprises in management and development decision making.

Personal Description
Minh Hieu Nguyen T. completed her bachelor's (Human resource management major) from Japan and her master's from Australia. She worked for the United Nation Development Programme National Project before becoming a lecturer in Management at Hanoi University. At present, Minh Hieu is a PhD candidate in the field of Organizational Psychology and Social Entrepreneurship at the School of Psychology, Massey University. Her research interest is on Social enterprises, Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behavior.
