Thesis Title
The application of forage densification technologies to feeding systems for small ruminant production in the Caribbean
Densified forage is an under researched area that may reduce the high dependence on imported concentrate feed, by small ruminant producers in the Caribbean. Ms Jack showed that densified forage resulted in similar performance in lambs to that of imported concentrates. Her findings demonstrate that densified forage may lead to increased use of locally available ingredients and reduced dependence on imported concentrate feeds.
