Dr Jenny Poskitt is a senior lecturer in the Institute of Education.  Dr Poskitt began her career as a primary teacher, teaching in three schools.  Since being at Massey University Jenny has developed teaching and research interests in assessment, professional learning, research methods, adolescent learning and engagement.  Dr Poskitt has led numerous nation-wide research and evaluation conttracts, presented at NZ and international conferences and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences. She is a member of various educational sector, Ministry of Education and Government level advisory groups on educational policy and practice.
