Candidates must have a completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent and be working in the health industry.

Postgraduate Diploma in Health Service Management structure

The PGDipHSM is a 120 credit programme, including two compulsory courses 152.742 Health Systems Management and 157.701 Health Information Management. The remaining courses (60 credits) are to be selected from those listed on the programme schedule below.

Successful candidates who achieve at least a B- grade average in the PGDipHSM may apply to transfer into Part Two of the MMgt and complete course 152.894 Professional Practice

This qualification may be awarded with Distinction or Merit if study is completed to a superior/high standard, and where all requirements have been completed within one year for full-time study or within three years for part-time study.

The maximum time permitted for completion of this qualification is 4 years.

These regulations should be read in conjunction with all other Statutes and Regulations of the University including the General Regulations for Undergraduate Degrees, Undergraduate Diplomas, Undergraduate Certificates, Graduate Diplomas and Graduate Certificates
