Massey University’s Master of Science is a 180 credit master qualification (a 240 credit MSc is also available). The 180 credit masters offers a rigorous programme of learning yet can be achieved in one and a half years.

These options are for students who want to pursue postgraduate study and research in a specific field. The 240 credit option may allow for a more extensive research project than the 180 credit master programme.
The Master of Science (by thesis only) is a 120 credit qualification for students who have completed the BSc (Hons) or PGDipSc. It consists of a thesis to the value of 120 credits.
