Graduate study - education

Graduate study means graduates can explore another subject without completing a second bachelor’s degree. 

The following programmes are offered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at graduate level:

Graduate certificates

Require 60 credits and are equivalent to one semester of full-time study. Many students study part-time.

Graduate diplomas

Require 120 credits and are equivalent to one year of full-time study. Many students study part-time.

Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programmes

ITE Graduate Diplomas

Require 120-165 credits and are equivalent to one year of full-time study.

NB - there is also a postgraduate-level ITE Master of Teaching and Learning.
