This scholarship is supported by a fund donated by the Kimbolton Rhododendron Society as a memorial to Dr J. S. Yeates. Dr Yeates was the first President of the New Zealand Rhododendron Association and was instrumental in the purchase of the property that ultimately became Kimbolton Rhododendron Heritage Park.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a student who normally resides in the Manawatū, preferably northern Manawatū.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be enrolled in a bachelor's degree with a focus on horticulture. You will already have completed 120 credits of your degree.

Eligibility criteria

You must:

  • be normally resident in Manawatū
  • be studying full-time
  • have completed 120 credits of your degree.
