Harry Tolley and L J Wild Scholarship

This scholarship arises from money provided by Merle Palmer Elliot and Joyce Marion Boyce in memory of their father, Harry Tolley of Hodder and Tolley Limited, and Dr L. J. Wild, founding Headmaster of Feilding Agricultural High School.

We're looking for former pupils of Feilding High School, along with others, who have a passion for agriculture or horticulture.

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will have preferably already completed 100 credits towards an undergraduate degree in horticulture or agriculture.

When choosing our recipient we will consider your academic achievements and other awards received to date. We will also consider which high school you attended.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be normally domiciled in New Zealand
  • be studying a specific subject
  • have completed at least 100 credits towards your degree

Application checklist

Please include the following with your application:

  • a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award
  • for 1st Year students, a copy of your High School results. For NCEA, go to the NZQA web page and on the My School Entries and Results page, click the 'view as pdf' (button on the right-hand side) to save this document
