The recipient of this scholarship will spend a minimum of two weeks in seeing practice during the fourth or fifth year of their degree.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for a fourth-year veterinary science student who is interested in general practice with an emphasis on large animal and/or production animal medicine.
What you'll be studying
This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be enrolled in a bachelor's degree with a focus on veterinary science.
Eligibility criteria
You must:
- normally reside in New Zealand
- be studying in a specific subject area
- be in the fourth year of your degree
- be willing to spend a minimum of two weeks in seeing practice.
Application checklist
Include the following with your application:
- a written statement on your interests and career intentions
- two written references. One of these referees should be an academic staff member in the BVSc course and one should be a prominent person in your home area
- your CV
