Northern Southland Veterinary Services Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will spend a minimum of three weeks in seeing practice during the fourth or fifth year of their degree.

We're looking for a fourth-year veterinary science student who is interested in general practice with an emphasis on large animal and/or production animal medicine.

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be enrolled in a bachelor's degree with a focus on veterinary science.

When choosing our recipient, we will consider your interest in this area of veterinary science.

Eligibility

You must:

  • normally reside in New Zealand
  • be studying in a specific subject area
  • be in the fourth year of your degree
  • be willing to spend a minimum of three weeks in seeing practice.

Application checklist

Please include the following with your application:

  • a written statement on your interests and career intentions
  • two written references. One of these referees should be an academic staff member in the BVSc course and one should be a prominent person in your home area
  • your CV
