The Hawkes Bay Farm Improvement Club was set up in the 1970s. Groups of farmers in central and southern Hawkes Bay paid an annual subscription to help pay for an advisor who worked with the farmers to solve problems relating to farm improvement. When the club was dissolved, the remaining funds were used to set up this scholarship.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone from the Central Hawkes Bay District Council, Dannevirke Community Board, or Woodville Districts’ Vision, with a keen interest in agriculture.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be in your second or third year of an undergraduate degree in agriculture.

  • a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award
