Mr Kenneth Arnold North was the founding principal of Palmerston North Teachers College, which was first established in 1956. Mr North bequest an endowment to the Teachers College at Palmerston North to provide financial assistance to students of the former Palmerston North Teachers College to undertake a course of study in New Zealand. This scholarship is named in his honour.
We're looking for a fully registered teacher and who is advancing their education to achieve their career goals and who is passionate about contributing to giving back upon graduation.
This is a postgraduate scholarship. You will be enrolled in a minimum of 30 credits per semester and be intending to complete your qualification in the year of the award.
When choosing our recipients we will consider how your study will support your career goals. We will also look at your commitment to contributing to the community and your field of work.
