Change in action
Our commitment to revitalising Massey's campuses has resulted in the following activities on the Wellington campus.

Cinema
The cinema in Block 10 Tokomaru is now available for student and public use. Community groups and local filmmakers can hire the facilities for events like fundraising and cast and crew screenings. Facilities include a bar service and kai options. Students are also welcome to book the space for private showings.

Increased coffee and kai offerings
The Pyramid and Block 10 Tokomaru each have a new coffee cart, providing hot beverages and fresh snacks to students, staff and visitors.
Outside Block 10 Tokomaru, Food Truck Friday provides a range of kai for lunch and dinner each week, complete with music from the Massey DJ Club and a pop-up bar.

Tussock Café and T-Bar improvements
We're working hard to make the café more student-centred, drawing on the distinct character of our Pukeahu campus.
The newly named T-Bar is now open every Thursday night. The space is being made more accessible for Te Tira Ahu Pae and student groups to host events. The range of food and beverages has increased, with regular deals in place to provide more affordable options for customers. Student Music Wednesdays, gallery spaces for student artwork and DJ decks are helping our ākonga to revitalise the space.
To take advantage of the central setting, bi-fold doors open onto the lawn whenever possible, and blankets are available for guests to enjoy a picnic on the grass.
The café team is focusing on reducing food waste to increase efficiency and minimise waste to landfill.
